Ayurveda Is a holistic approach to health and wellness. Ayurveda Preventative care practice that encourages an individual to honor the space we exist, in relationship to everything else. 

You thrive when all aspects of your life are thriving. When one aspect is being ignored, all other aspects of your life will reveal (in even subtle ways) the disconnect.

Intro to Ayurveda workshop, where we will lay out the foundational principles of the holistic approach Ayurveda shares on caring for the WHOLE person.

Through this workshop, you will:

– gain insights into Ayurveda’s holistic model of care

– understand Ayurveda’s definition of health

– learn Ayurveda’s connection to Yoga, its sister science

– understand Ayurveda’s elemental theory and the doshas

  • brief history of ayurveda and its vedic origin

  • relationship between yoga and ayurveda

  • panchamahabhootas (the five great elements)

  • our interconnection with nature, and the importance of living in harmony with the changing cycles of nature

  • doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) – discover your unique mind/body constitution

  • basic diet and lifestyle concepts and guidelines to bring yourself back into balance
